Press Release Regarding The Visit Of Foreign Minister H.e. Feridun H.sinirlioğlu To Austria On The Occasion Of The Commemoration Ceremony To Be Held In The Memory Of The Fallen Turkish Diplomats
H.E. Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will visit Austria on 21-22 October 2015 on the occasion of the
inauguration ceremony of the commemorative plate to be placed on the outer wall of the Turkish Embassy in Vienna as tribute to Ambassador Daniş
Tunalıgil, Vice Labour Counsellor Erdoğan Özen and Turkish diplomat Evner Ergun who served at the United Nations Office in Vienna - our fallen
diplomats, who lost their lives in the attacks perpetrated by ASALA and other affiliated terrorist organisations, in Vienna in 1970s and 1980s.
H.E. Johanna Mikl-Leitner, Minister of Interior of Austria will also participate in the commemoration ceremony to be held on 22 October 2015 coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the day when Ambassador Daniş Tunalıgil had fallen. Turkish citizens living in Austria as well as family members of the fallen diplomats will participate in the ceremony.
On this occasion, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu will have a bilateral meeting with Austrian Interior Minister Mikl-Leitner.
Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu will also be received by H.E. Heinz Fischer, President of Austria.
