Press Release Regarding The Fourth Trilateral Meeting Of The Ministers Of Foreign Affairs Of Turkey-iran-azerbaijan

The fourth Trilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs Turkey-Iran-Azerbaijan will be held on 5 April 2016, in Ramsar, the city of Iran with the
participation of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of
Islamic Republic of Iran and H.E. Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the context of the meeting, exchange of views will be carried out on the possibilities of developing regional cooperation on the issues of common interest to all three countries, the resolutions adopted at the meetings held in Urmia in 2011, Nakhchivan in 2012 and Van in 2014 and the works adopted at the end of the Van Meeting within the scope of “The Trilateral Sectoral Cooperation Action Plan for 2014-2016” will be reviewed.
Turkey-Iran-Azerbaijan Trilateral Foreign Ministers Meeting mechanism allows to exchange views on regional issues in the trilateral format and contribute to the development of cooperation understanding on the basis of mutual advantage; the strengthening of regional prosperity, stability and security.
